To be true I cant explain what is the problem. I just made a video of that :

I think its somethin with my video card (Intel® GMA 4500M).

Info about my system:

Ubuntu 10.10
Intel® GMA 4500M
Intel® Celeron® mobile processor T1600/T1700
1 gb ram

I could not see your video but if problem in recording, try.

$ sudo apt-get install xvidcap

for open software -

$ sudo xvidcap

Now expand red rectangular area and start recording. File will be stored in /root
