    [solved]enable user to ssh

    Hi,
    I am editing the /etc/group file to enable home directory and bash for an existing user
    Code:
    user.name:x:1036:1001::/home/data:/bin/bash
    But, user is still not able to connect.
    That happenned to me in the past and solved it by rebooting the server (which I can not do right now).
    Is there anyspecific way to load the changes in the users groups instead of re-booting?
    Thanks a lot,

    edit: my fault, password was missing. Sorry
