Cairo-Dock - No Labels for Sub-Dock Items?

I just installed a dock for the first time yesterday, and I'm loving it. So far I've configured Cairo Dock to my liking, except for one little problem: There are no labels on items in a sub-dock.

As you can see in the attachment, I got three PDFs opened with the Evince Document Viewer, but there are no labels above the icons displaying their names or any other info. This makes it a guess-and-click game trying to select the one you want.

Google is my friend, but it let me down this time. I found all kinds of info on how to change label appearance, how to display the label only on the mouse-overed icon, etc. But no info at all on labels in sub-docks.

Forgot to mention that the labels are only missing when using the Rainbox view for sub-docks. All other views (3D, default, Parabolic) work fine.
