    Shortcuts for missing characters.

    Hello,

I am the proud owner of a netbook with Spanish keyboard where the < and > keys do not type the corresponding symbol. Instead they send Home. In addition I write in Norwegian and I would like to type the åæø easily. Alt gr (right alt) combinations do not generate those characters..

I would like to type < with the Shift-Ctrl-L key combination and similar short cuts for the remaining keys I am missing Like Ctrl-Shift-o for ø. I somehow was able to launch gnome-do with the Ctrl-Shift-Space key combination which is great as the Windows key is hijacked by Unity.

Any suggestions on how to get characters with keyboard combinations?

    Love,

    Anybody?

I have figured out how to start an application with a keyboard shortcut, but I am clueless on the correct way to get a Latin1 character with a keyboard shortcut on 10.10 Netbook Remix With standard Gnome 10.10 I can add a Character Palette to the top bar but in Netbook Remix there is no such possibility.
