Hi, yesterday I updated from 10.04 to 10.10 on my Dell PC and worked initially fine. However, I cannot figure out why today this new version suddenly logs off (Well, "suddenly" but it lets me logged on for no more than 10 minutes!. I even had to post this thread from windows :S) Anyway, I just can mention that I was using k9copy, which also crashed, but I don't know if it might had influenced. Thaks in advance.
I had this problem for months. It's a BIOS problem. Go into BIOS and increase the chipset voltage as much as you can. It's probably too low and that crashes computers, or randomly restarts them.
Just for the future: if you keep having the same problem with different OSs and programs it's probably BIOS's fault.
