When it doesn't want to close
    Code:
    killall conky

I believe Imlib is available with the conky-all package.
Windows assumes the user is an idiot.
    Linux demands proof.

    Thanks!

    It works perfectly.

The only flaws are that I want conky to open from Applications and not running it and closing it from the terminal.

Is there a way to do that?

Actually, I had that problem with conky-all already installed. I guess the issue was that instead of creating a .conkyrc file in home, I created a .conkyrc folder with a conky.conf file in it. Once I followed TeoBigusGeekus instructions, no errors were reported in the terminal.

    Right click your menus>Edit menus
Go to the category you want to add conky in and select new.
Pick up an icon if you wish, name your new entry conky and give as its command
    Code:
    conky
    and you're done.

Man, thank you so much for your time and patience.

I got it all figured out.

    Again, thanks!
