    E17 Enlightenment and Thinkpad

    Hello,
I'm thinking a bit about getting a new laptop, and the Thinkpad L412 seems rather interesting. I'm not quite sure whether I want Ubuntu or Arch Linux on it, but I do think I woulod go for the E17 Desktop environment (since it looks pretty good and seems to be low on resources). Does anybody have any thoughts on this combination? I am a complete standard user who just wants to do office bits, surf, watch movies, videochat every once in a while, edit some pictures and occasionally master audio files.

Enlightenment is fantastic. If you want to go down the Ubuntu route Bodhi is a pretty good Ubuntu based spin using Enlightenment as it's default desktop. or you could always compile from source.

Anyone know if E17 is available for Ubuntu 11.04 that doesn't require compiling yourself?
