Which music player should I use?

Which music player should I use? I heard that some music players have difficulties playing certain types of music files. Is there a music player that has the fewest issues when it comes to playing music files? I'll take any suggestions?

I heard that some music players have difficulties playing certain types of music files.
    Which players? And which files?

Most music players for Ubuntu will use the same libraries and the same audio back end, so there is not much difference aside from the GUI and bonus features (ie last.fm, eqs and all that junk).

If you just want something that plays music from a library without issue I recommend Quod Libet, I have had zero issues with it. You can also just try out a bunch of them from the software center, they will only be a few MBs to download each.
