So I was snooping around on the net last night looking at PC parts and found this: http://www.outletpc.com/computer-sys...s--linux-.html Yep thats a UBUNTU loaded machine for sale commercially. I know this is new to OUTLETPC I have been using them for sometime now. I guess the Nevada LOCO has some friends at OUTLETPC...........I was very happy about it and thought I would share.

Thanks for the reference try System 76 in a Google search. They have a bigger range of machines but that one looks good for upgrading as budgets permit. Windwalker52 Does anyone know of a Linux repair shop or custom shop here in Joplin or Springfield or KC and Saint Louis or anywhere else they would recommend and risk their own machine with? We had one (Springfield Technology) but it closed due to unknown reasons. We need to support our local or regional dealers and they hopefully would appreciate the business. Windwalker52
I find its funny how UNPROFESSIONAL they are if you hit specifications it says ubutu

Windwalker52 I dont off hand...I have steered my business to all Linux....I will install that "W" word if the customer wants it but I try to push Linux.
most in joplin ive talked with push windows for there customers and dont seem to like working with linux in general from what ive gathered when ive talked with them i think they think windows is just easier for them to make money on wich might be idk
Yeah im sure thats got alot to do with it, but I think it also has to do with the idea that Linux is something "new" for most people and they dont understand the advantages
