Chrome Flash not working on Separate X Screens

    Hi,

I have Ubuntu 10.10, 64bit version. I installed flash plugin and restricted extras.

Chrome flash does not work on my secondary monitor, while firefox is doing ok. I tried to find a solution but could not find. I reinstalled all the things and installed them back. Could this be a bug?

I'm not sure if this pertains to the Linux version, but I know that Google Chrome bundles its own versions of Flash Player with the browser. It may be as simple as Firefox is using a newer one (the one you installed) than Chrome, and so you're seeing feature differences.

Perhaps, but i remember i copied the libflashplayer.so to the Chromium directory. But i am not sure if i reinstalled chromium after that.

My friend told me he had the same problem. At first i thought the flash is just not working with Chromium. But he discovered the real problem because he could hear the sound of the flash component but no image. It does the same thing for me too. I just see a grey box.
