parent.lock delete every time for thunderbird

    hello everybody,

everytime i start up my computer and run thunderbird, i need to delete the .parentlock file.

is there a solution for it ?

or can i tell linux in some boot file to delete that file every time at startup (i know it is not a pretty solution).

    thanks

    hello ervybody,

i think i have found it,

my profiles folder is on an NTFS partition, and i never mounted it on startup.

i have just done that, and all off a sudden thunderbird seems to erase the file when it shuts down. (or maybe it deletes is at startup, but couldn't because the partition wasn't mounted).

i hope that the experst know why, but for me it worked.

    greetz
