Creative X-Fi - Mic working - after Suspend

I have used some hours trying to find the reason for my mic not working in 10.10.
I read a bunch of posts, but one got me at the end.
"i hibernated my linux and now the mic works"

Any clue on why this is happening ? - Cause it actually worked for me after doing a "suspend".
How should i proceed ? - I just COULD suspend my box every time i boot it, but, who really wants to do that ?

My mic doesn't work either, haven't tried that suspend stuff yet.
Also my front center and subwoofer don't work with my x-fi...

EDIT: just tried it, you seem to be right. mic is working now. Didn't know this; this is weird...
