    Animated Backgrounds?

    Is it possible to have an animated background???????

    Gnome also has a built-in support for animated wallpapers, and actually at least 10.10 already comes with two of those. If I remember right 10.04 shold also have at least one by default.

    You can find more from gnome-look.org.

    Or just make one of your own, all you need is a bunch of pictures and a simple .xml file that tells what image to show and when, and how long to fade from one image to next. You can use one of the default animation.xml files as an example.
