The Atlanta Linux Enthusiasts recently posted a schedule for all of their planned events throughout November and December on their mailing list.

Don't worry, I spliced out all of the personal email addresses.

Subject: [ale] [ANNC] ALE November / December Events Calendar

Just a heads up on ALE Events planned for November and December
so y'all can mark your calendars. Full details will follow soon:

-- Thursday, November 18, 7:30pm
-- November ALE Central Meeting
Our feature presentation will be "CLASSIC COMPUTING"
with David Greelish, a recent transplant to the Atlanta area
who is working to create a Classic Computing Technology
museum here. He has been busy recently speaking at several
area user groups, so I invited him to talk at ALE as well.

-- Saturday, November 20th, ~9:30a to ~5p
-- ITT / ALE Linux Fest
Wolf Halton has us lined up for another install fest at the
new ITT Tech campus just South of the Hartsfield Airport.
These have been very well attended and a lot of fun, so
I hope you'll join us. Also, if you have a brief Linux related
talk or demonstration to offer, there's no doubt that the
ITT students and Linux Fest guests would love to see it

-- Saturday, December 4th, 7p to whenever
-- **ALE SOLSTICE PARTY ! **
Arrangements for our annual ALE Solstice party are now
in place as Geoffrey has confirmed our reservation for
the Chestnut Hill community club house (near the
intersection of i75 and i575 in Cherokee county).
In the spirit of the Classic Computing presentation at
the November ALE Central meeting, the festivities
will include an ANTIQUE TEQUENOLOGY SMACK
DOWN -- a version of "Stump the Band" where all you
gray bearded gadget hoarders are invited to dig your
most obscure example(s) of classic computer antiquity
out of your basement or garage, cover up the logs,
and make the rest of us guess:
"What the heck is that thing, anyway?".

=====
Again, full details will be posted as the dates
get closer.
