    Patch GUI

    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a GUI so I can visually seeing patching (not KDE based)? I am trying to patch Drupal files locally and would like something a little more than command line.

    Thanks

    Hi

You should try the Meld Diff Viewer. It's in the Ubuntu Software Center
    System76 Darter Ultra gen3, 12" Glossy LCD
Intel Pentium Core 2 Duo, 2.53ghz
    4gb DDR2 SDRAM; 250gb, 7200rpm, SATA HDD
    Intel X4500 Graphics Card

    Re: Patch GUI

    Hello,

Thanks for the suggestion. I have that installed, but I cannot figure out if that will actually accept a patch file and another file and patch automatically while allowing me to view the changes. It seems like I can add, but maybe not remove based on the patch file?

    Re: Patch GUI

I'm looking for the exact same thing, also for Drupal files - I find it too cumbersome using the command line tool, because sometimes I need to check I'm patching the correct version of files first & a GUI would be perfect to see this first before encountering a barrage of errors.

Does anyone know of anything that will work for us, or how to make Meld do what we are describing?

    Thanks!
