    BT tools in ubuntu,..

    Hello everyone,..

I wanted to bring as many tools that are used in back track onto my ubuntu platform. I know some can't be used cause of the kernel or at least that is what I been told, but I would like to know if anyone has tried this,.. or would I be better off with a Kubuntu etc.. is there a tutorial anywhere for this? please let me know..

You can install the tools from source or from the ubuntu repos if they are there, however it would be simpler and safer just to use them from inside BackTrack.

You won't be able to get all tools from BT by just using their repos.

Not to mention if you use the BT repos, it'll more then likely break stuff in Ubuntu and it is not supported by the developers of BT.
