Tip: Set your thread to SOLVED under Thread Tools. It's the best way to indicate the thread requires no more assistance.

Can we try and use thread tools and mark it [SOLVED]? Thanks!
If you have time it would also be nice if you could advise where you found it, in case someone comes after with the same issue.
Ok, here goes:
Step 1: Click on arrow next to "Thread Tools" at the top of the thread (Always visible to everyone)
Step 2: Click on "Mark this thread as solved" from drop-down list that appears (ONLY visible to creator of thread and admin users)
Once this is done, the thread will have [SOLVED] appearing next to the thread title.
Makes sense that only creator and forum admin can change it to SOLVED status.
