    for my p4 1.5ghz 128mb

    i have a sony vaio desktop pentium 4 1.5ghz 128mb and i want to install ubuntu on it,iv tried ubuntu 10.04 but it doesnt meet the system requirements,i also tried ubuntu 8 but it says "this kernel requires an x86-64 CPU and i only have i1586CPU" please help me find the right version for my pc thanks in advance..

    Get more RAM. 512mb and then you can run Ubuntu/Xubuntu/Lubuntu no problem.

    I agree with snowpine - you really need to get up to 512 MB RAM or more.
