    Dell E6410 Trackpad Issue

    Hello,

I am not for sure if this has been fixed or not. But, the track-pad is not setup for scrolling for Ubuntu 10.10 64bit is not working.

I have seen many forums on this issue. However, lots of the fixes are not working. This issue was also happening in version 10.04. I assumed that it would of been fixed in this version?

However, the issue is still there... Does anyone have the real fix for this issue?

    Best Regards,
    Ducky

I'm surprised no one ever replied to you, I've always had good luck here... I'm having the same issue.

Apparently it's a wide spread problem with this latest line of Dell Latitude laptops.

There is an active discussion going on here. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+s...ux/+bug/601113

    And here http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1561082&page=3

Have you had any luck with it? We might be stuck waiting for a new alps driver...
