The idea here is to accumulate points. You are awarded one point for every minute. What kind of minute, you ask? Minutes since the last post! Because Ubuntu Forums doesn't provide exact post times, here is the system: You use whatever increment is given after you post. After seeing this, edit your post to reflect your new total. So each post should have a running point total. Ex. If someone posts on this thread one hour from now, at the time of posting it will say that this post was posted one hour ago. The poster should go back and edit his post to reflect his new total of 60. For your convince: 1 minute in a minute 60 minutes in an hour 1440 minutes in a day 10080 minutes in a week 43800 minutes in a month 525600 minutes in a year Whoever has the current highest total is winning. The game has no end. If the thread gets forgotten, you can come back in a year to swoop up a massive 525,600 points. Your total is running, so add each time you post. You get no points for double (or triple, or quadruple, etc) posting. Only time since someone else's post awards points. Edit: Additional rule: All times going forward are not affected by posts that do not participate in the game. There is an example of this just a few posts in if you want to see it. Also, disclaimer: This game is heavily based off of a Necromancy game on the XKCD forums.

I might have been a little unclear. You have 52 points. I have 1 point now. The poster gets the points.
Oh I see, therefor it is an implicit rule that you don't double post! 52+23 = 75 ta.

13 hours? Well I got myself 13*60 points, so.. 780 POINTS!! Well, since the opener made clear that posts of people non-participating in the game don't count, well, I get 24 hours instead of 13.. So 1440 points instead of 780!! 1440 POINTS!!
