Hey there! Welcome to the Florida Team Forums. Sorry that your initial attempt to contact us went unnoticed. I hadn't noticed whether or not you had Introduced yourself in the sticky thread, which is the thread most of us are subscribed to, but I have just subscribed to this one as well. We don't really have a huge amount of people in the Sarasota area, but there have been a couple that have come into our IRC channel and asked about possible events close to Sarasota. If you are interested, there are several ways of getting discussions going you can subsribe to the the Teams' mailing list Located here! Our IRC channel is hosted on Freenode at #ubuntu-us-fl. The Mailing list would be your best as it reaches more people. I mention the irc channel because a lot of us are in there throughout the day.
