Hi, I'm having an issue with a Live CD of a distro I wanted to try out called UberStudent, and derivative of Ubuntu, I wrote the disk image in Ubuntu 10.10 with Brasero to DVD, and when I try to boot up with the live CD I get the following message and a (initramfs):
Code:
mount: mounting /dev/loop0 on //filesystem.squashfs failed: Input/output error
Could not mount /dev/loop0 (/cdrom/casper/filesystem.squashfs) on //filesystem.squashfs
It worked on VirtualBox and got past this stage, and I know of initramfs being important in the first stages of the boot but I don't know all the ins and outs of it.

Does anyone know what the issue is or what might solve this?

The MD5SUM is correct and the CD seems to have burned fine.

Thanks in advance,
Ben.
