QNX Lookalike

I'm looking for a QNX-style sidebar for my desktop. I'd prefer it if the program didn't need to run inside a specific Desktop Environment. Does anyone know of something like this?

I found this and its fvwm2rc, but none of the icons show up and some of the text is missing. I'll post a screen shot in a minute.

Well, it took a hell of a long time manually changing the icons by hand, but I finally configured it to my liking. Anyone that wants to see the result and my FVWM2RC, see the Screenshots thread.
