(10.04.1 Remote Desktop) - Only allow localhost?

Is there a way to only accept SSH Tunneled VNC connections from localhost? I would like to close port 5900 on my router and only have SSH open.

I'm probably missing something major (I haven't done Remote Desktop), but since localhost is the local machine - are you trying to SSH from the machine to itself?

Haha not quite, I attempting to use SSH to secure my connection from my PC to a remote Ubuntu box. On my PC, I use PuTTY to initiate the SSH connection to Ubuntu (which is far away) and set up tunnels.

I would like to configure Vino to only accept local connections... Therefore, only remote desktoping into itself, or accepting my SSH connection into the machine would be allowed.

I hope that makes sense, I'm no expert!
