I would love for exaile to support smart playlist and the ability to get album art from google, both are listen features that I kinda like.

O! and a lastfm radio player functionality

This might seem like a silly question, but how does Exaile's ipod support compare to Amarok's? A friend of mine is considering trying linux for the first time, and he needs an easy, and as full-featured ipod compatible media player as possible (he is currently very fond of iTunes). Is there anything ipod related that Exaile and Amarok do differently?
Linux user since January 31st, 2006.

Well, I can't really say. I haven't used Amarok's ipod manager, nor have I used iTunes extensively.

    Here's what Exaile can do:

You can create and manage iPod playlists
You can transfer tracks to your iPod. If Exaile has downloaded an album cover for the track, it will be transferred as well.
You can remove tracks from your iPod
You can edit metadata for tracks on your iPod

Here's what it can't do (yet):

There is no sync function. I don't know if there will be... I've never used this function on iTunes and I have no idea what it does exactly.

That's a really old version. Try 0.2.4 or svn.
