Is it iTunes 7? If so, that's the problem. Apple made changes to DAAP in iTunes 7, so no current open-source clients can connect to it yet. Ask your friend to use a stand-alone DAAP server instead, like Tangerine.Originally Posted by travishume

As none of the devs has an MTP music player (so far as I know), this probably won't happen soon. Writing a plugin for it shouldn't be too difficult, but its kinda hard to do that when you don't have any way to test it.

just encountered my first problem with exaile. Sound quality is garbage. Maybe I don't have a right codec or something but it's scratchy and fuzzy.

Turn the volume down in Exaile itself, and turn it up on the hardware. This should take care of the problem.

Long time Exaile user, just experienced my first problem.
A recent update to the beta version of Feisty seems to have killed the multimedia keys on my laptop, at least in Exaile 0.2.9b. They still seem to work in Rhythymbox, though.
Anyone else experience this?

Hi all,
Newbie here.
Like the program but it won't play radio streams, i can't seem to find a user guide for this program and i'm getting frustrated as other people seem to be having success. I'm not trying to rip the stream YET, just play. I have installed gstreamer-ugly libs but all streams seem to do the same.
I open the radio tab and highlight a predefined station then press play. the timer starts counting the pop up box displays the station but no music.
Are ther any other steps required? is there a user guide?
First sound then ripping?
