I have this strange error where, while my trackpad works at the login screen, once I login it no longer functions at all. Luckily I still have the little red dot thingy, but what in the world would cause it to stop working once I've logged into my session? If it was hardware, it wouldn't work at the log in screen so is there some hidden "disable trackpad" button I don't know about? I've looked through the "mouse" settings, and by all accounts it should be working just fine. I'm stumped.

Oh and it's a Thinkpad R60 running Maverick.

Any guesses?
