xfce4-dict: "Could not connect to server"

    Hi!
I'm having a problem here with my dictionary. Whenever I open it up and type in a word for it to look up, words appear on the bottom of the window:
    Querying dict.org ...
This stays for about 10 seconds.
    Then:
    Could not connect to server.

I don't know what to try in order to get rid of this. I use the dictionary quite often, about four or five times in a day, and would be very grateful if someone could help me get rid of this error message.
I've already tried purging and reinstalling the xfce4-dict program. Firefox can connect to the internet and display web pages, play games, etc just fine.
(Although, it won't connect to dict.org for some reason...)

You are correct, dict.org is offline. Therefore you can't access it.

I have the same problem, any time I look for a word in the dictionary, I obtain fail connection with server: dict.org:2628.

But is it offline since one month ago?
