AVI to FLV
I'm running Ubuntu 10.4 and have downloaded the files I think I need from mediabuntu.
I'm trying to take an AVI and make it a FLV to put on the web. (It's a movie of my kids and Grandma and Grandpa are anxious to see them.)
- When I try in Avidemus the configure job button is grayed out and as expected the conversion job fails.
- In WinFF there is no option to choose FLV as the output.
- In Pitvi I can make a really huge FLV but if I choose a codec other than their default the video doesn't convert (I get a notice saying it will take days.)
I'm guessing that I'm missing something important but I don't know what or how to find out. I'd hate to have to boot into Windows to do this.
I'd appreciate any help you can give me. I'm a newbie.
Thank you,
GG -----------
