We are unable to install HP Professional P1566 printer on Ubuntu 10.4. We have also tried installing the printer on Windows XP (which was done) and connect from Ubuntu 10.4 machines but failed. Please help.

Could anyone please help us with this?

HP Printers should work very well in Ubuntu.
1. Install HPLIP (Applications > Ubuntu Software Center > search for "hplip" > Install HPLIP (might already be installed)
2. Connect the printer (USB)
3. Run HPSETUP (Alt+F2 > enter "hp-setup") and follow the wizard to setup your printer
