    Question Automatic Updater

I am having a problem with an updated version of a software (namely Piklab 15.7) so I found a deb of an older version (15.2) and everything works fine.

One annoying thing is that the automatic updater keeps asking me to install 15.7.

Is there anyway I can forever exclude this update from appearing WITHOUT turning update notification off?

Take a look at this Ubuntu community doc on how to 'pin' a package. Specifically, look at the 'Holding' section:

    Back to Xorg...

    Retired.
