Xubuntu's Display Crashing Randomly

i recently installed xubuntu 10.4 using wubi under my windows C: drive (4 GB). Now sometimes after booting up xubuntu, the screen crashes at random times and starts blinking white stripes on half of the screen. And also when xubuntu boots up the logo appears very pixelly and looks as if it is run in safe mode and before the logo appears a quick green color flashes on the screen. My xorg.0.log --> http://pastebin.com/uAy3NS4f . I use Samsung syncmaster 794mg monitor and my driver is intel 82845G. I use 1152x864 resolution while my monitor supports upto 1280x1024 resolution. Help me Please!

edit : I tested on all resolutions and it seems that the display is crashing on all of the resolutions

hello,

You will have to use "vesa" driver to fix the random crashes.

Btw cutezkazuva is the logo during the boot supposed to be displayed like that? ("Xubuntu" text with xfce logo during the boot looks very pixelly)

Sygeek, i dont actually use xubuntu but the vesa driver is very generic and its not the best so that might be the reason the logo is bad.

Hopefully it will be fixed soon as devs are working for a solution, i am simply using another old matrox graphics card which i found it lying around.
