Hi to all!

I back again running xubuntu 9.10 karmic on my crappy machine.

I 've got to ask about my wireless internet connection.

I 'm using the default network manager which was installed by xubuntu. Everything went like a breeze, internet working fine and I did not even have to type my internet connection password to connect to the net.
xubuntu did that for me gathering information from my past installation (is linux great or what?).

The thing is that network manager has set its maximum speed to 1 Mbps. My connection is 8 Mbps.

Should I do something to increase this speed ,and if so how can I do that?

If someone can help ,please do so.

Thanks!
