how to use yahoo-mail by Empathy

    Hello everyone
I've had yahoo mail and I want to know how to use it by empathy program, I chose yahoo then I wrote it with password but it didn't log in and appears disconnected-network error, I think that problem is in options of Advanced"like sever or port...etc" I wish someone helps me if he knows the solution and thank you so much
    my regards

I think the free Yahoo Mail does not support POP3 and SMTP. I've read that you have to pay for Yahoo Mail Plus for that support.

There is a program called YPops that will proxy/simulate POP3/SMTP for this but I haven't used it. See here for details,

Personally, that's too much hassle. I just use gmail as it does have free POP3/SMTP even with SSL encryption.
