    Exclamation 10.04 >> Compiz BUG!!

    Hi friends,
    I am Baskar,
    I have Ubuntu10.04 installed on my system. Always i got hang when compiz enabled.

    SYS Config:
    Intel P4 2.4GHz
    1 GB RAM
    500 GB HDD
    32 Bit
    UBUNTU 10.04

    TERMINAL O/P:
    WARNING: Application calling GLX 1.3 function "glXCreatePixmap" when GLX 1.3 is not supported! This is an application bug!
    compiz (cube) - Warn: Failed to load slide: /usr/share/gdm/themes/Human/ubuntu.png
    WARNING: Application calling GLX 1.3 function "glXDestroyPixmap" when GLX 1.3 is not supported! This is an application bug!

    Is there is any way to FIX this?????

    hi what about your graphic card? have you tried there on compiz website is a tool to check up your system if it can run compiz at all..

    there is two things either u have old graphic card or buggy graphic driver.

    i have ati 4850 and u know what ? no matter what i do run non stop cube or change desktop the gpu is used never more than 1% and the cpu 2% i have q9000

    also u can try compiz --version there is on ppa 0.8.6 but at least try the tool from compiz web if it tell you your system is to old than u cant have compiz
