Hello in maths we are doing tax and as part of tax you need to know your wage.

So without trying to be rude or inapropriate if there are any application programmers who read this what is the average wage.

Also very important but can you include the curreny (example australion dollars or euro, etc)

No, that sounds about right.
The minimum legal wage in Australia is about AU$530/week for a full-time job, and someone with a Bachelors in CS can expect AU$35-40/hr for casual work, so the figures in the link sound pretty accurate: $30/hr full time.

Disclaimer: I'll leave it to an experienced programmer in Australia to give a more definitive/accurate answer - I don't work full-time
