Huge cursor

Hi,

I am running Ubuntu 10.04. Recently, my computer began having an issue where after running for some amount of time, the pointer randomly becomes 2-3 times it's original size. I've tried fixing it in the customize area of the appearance config program but it doesn't change anything. The only way I can fix it is by rebooting.

I'd post a screenshot but in the screenshots the pointer size is normal.

Could this be a driver issue? I also recently upgraded to a Radeon HD 5870. I can't remember if these two events coincided though.
