Apologies if this is in the wrong bit, I did try and get it in the right place and hopefully my first post isn't a mess up.
Anyways, I have recently got hold of a cheap back-up netbook (Zoostorm FreedomXL) and was wanting to put the latest Desktop version of Ubuntu on it. Does anyone know of a thread on these boards that will guide me through the full installation on a new machine, booting from a flash drive. I am not a TOTAL newbie to Ubuntu, but at the same time don't want to make any major mistakes. Will I need back up drivers or anything like that?
I don;t want to try it and get it all messed up. If there is no thread, can anyone point me in the right direction?
