Using Ubuntu to save at-risk youth.

I would not have been able to do this project had it not been for UBUNTU. : Re-Use of old PCs to empower the less fortunate - TEDxCreativeCoast - Murray Wilson - eWaste and the Social Landfill http://bit.ly/bDu4hM

    Congratulations for this awesome project.
Preserving our mother nature "Pachamama", rehabilitating and teaching kids in problems, and spreading GNU/Linux/Ubuntu.

Can you wish for anything else at the same time?

I do refurbishing for a local not-for-profit that gets computers out to caregivers of seniors with dementia. Most have never been online before and have no knowledge of Windows or any other OS. For these people, Ubuntu/Mint/Zorin has worked out better than I could have hoped. I started with WinXp, but quickly found out that installing and maintaining firewalls, anti-virus and anti-spyware programs were way beyond their capabilties. Thank you linux...

this is excellent idea for at -risk youth. I hope this idea will pass through school or camps for at risk youth. This will be a big help.
