    Flash Question

At present I am running Ubuntu 9.10 64 bit. I am using the 64 bit flash that is no longer available. Can I put that flash on a flash drive then install it on my computer when I install Ubuntu 10.04?

    Thanks

    Re: Flash Question

My advice, for daily usage, please use 32 bit version. As for adobe flash, go to adobe flash website, chose download, .deb for Ubuntu 8.04+, save the deb file, copy it on a memory stick, then run the .deb file whenever you need.

    Good luck!

download as many times as you want...

and please don't use the 64-bit plugin... theirs a major security problem with it, which was why it was discontinued in the first place

yes, drop the the libflashplayer.so file in any browser plugins folder, its just that simple.
but use only that version of 64-bits flash if the 32-bits flash from the system repositories doesn't work on your computer.

    Re: Flash Question

I also don't recommend using the 64bit version due to security issues. Use the 32bit version from the repositories. It should work properly. If you have any problems with it see:
