    Exclamation Computer Tunnel Syndrome "Help!"

    HI All
I'm not lazy I've just been using windows everyday for the last 20 years.
I'm having difficulty getting the swing of linux.
Just a few hangups blocking me.
I have xp home with a HDhomerun DTV using GB-PVR.
    No problem with windows.
I installed Ubuntu 10.04 first and could not get it working with my US Robotics serial modem. My main interest is the PVR so I bought Mythbuntu and installed it.
Thought it would be easier. Still have a few hangups.
I need to get the ball rolling so all suggestions are welcomed. and please PM me if you wish.
    1) First problem in MYTHBUNTU I cant find places like in lucid linx. I need to get to my USB flash drive to transfer data, applications etc.

    2) modem, dialup, isp. does Mythbuntu have everything needed to setup the internet connection? Should I get a serial to USB adapter for the Modem?
If not what do I need and how do I install it?

    3) Does Mythbuntu have the drivers for HDHomerun already?

4)Some instructions on how to install a small simple game or two would really make a difference. I'd at least have the confidence and interest to continue.
I've got to transfer from a flash drive or DVDRW till I get online.

Not being able to get this baby online is keeping me from flying.
I'm downloading youtube vids on mythbuntu backend setup.

    Thanks for your assistance.

In Windows, click on START->RUN and then type cmd, then type ..

    C:\Windows\system32\ipconfig /all

.. and post the results here.
