i am using ubuntu 10.04 on my computer . After every 15 minutes the screen goes black . i have disabled all the screen savers but problem still remains . what should i do . how can i solve this problem.

Well i would also check the power management options as well. though your screensaver is off your "put monitor to sleep" option sounds like its still active.
check under power management and see
