    EEETop Touchscreen not working

    Hi everybody,

I've installed Ubuntu 10,04 LTS on an EEETop 1602. The problem is, that the touchscreen doesn't work sensible. If I tip on any part of it, the cursor jumpes to the top left corner of the screen straight away.

I've tried all the driver installations about xorg.conf and all the rest, but it just won't work. NEED HELP, Ubuntu beginner!

i think you need to install the "xserver-xorg-input-evtouch" driver, look in synaptic.

    Hi,
thanks for the quick help, done that but the problem still occurs.
If I touch the panel the cursor jumps to the top left corner, but not where I tip!

I found a fix for this issue and posted it in its own thread:

I had the exact same problem and it took me several days to figure it out.
