Yeah, I think plenty of people get used to it the way it is, this guide is still good for those of us who are used to the photoshop layout, though.

Hello all!

I just thought I share with you, a video I've done on how to make The GIMP look similar to Photoshop's layout.

GIMP's default layout is a bit frustrating and a lot of people maybe used to using Adobe Photoshop and it's layout. It's more based off Photoshop CS4 layout, though it's not possible to fully make it like that in GIMP.

ive even gotten used to, and like the GIMP layout now,
but this is super helpful, even if one doesnt use it setup like PS.

2.8 is still not here. If I knew how to write code I would help out.But for now Ive installed 2.7.3 deb file on Ubuntu 10.10, very cool indeed. Critics of Gimp will have a lot less to complain about now.
I will save my work as I go in case it crashes. But so far knock on wood its not. Its looking GOOD!!
