Kompozer is installed, but will NOT run!

Hi, so after a few annoying hours and less hours sleeping, I decided to buy a new HDD...no food this week .

Anyway, I put Lynx on it and then tried to install Kompozer..I added the ppa, reloaded etc etc.. downloaded the right version (0.8) it installed with no errors, but when i click on ANY shortcut or start icon, it does nothing.

    What have I done wrong?

Couldn't you just use the version already in the repositories? I installed it just the other day and it worked fine, the version is 0.8b1.

Which PPA did you use by the way?

It has a raft of bugs that have been fixed in 0.8b3. The version I have which works ok, came from getdeb.

Ahh, OK. Admittedly I haven't used it much yet but for what I have used it for it seemed OK.

You might have to remove the PPA version first.

Is it the same problem as before? If you run it from a terminal is there any output?
