    Never had this problem before

    Im useing 10.04 ubantu

    I go to hulu.com
    put on some family guy
the video will play fine small at any size but when i full screen the video
it plays slower and more chopy
    theres no lines
    its more like a lag

    Not only that
games that worked on 9.10 dont work on 10.04

I try to play starcraft it lags real bad
In diablo 2 it plays perfectly lagless but no sounds

Dont they keep stuff from 9.10 that works and simply make it better
or did they decide to start from scratch when makeing the new os

im thinking about going back to 9.10 becuse it works for my games

    Side question

theres a movie maker in windows xp just comes with ur Windows

i was wondering if there is a simuler program for linux so i can make slideshows again

ive been using ubantu 9.10 for like 6 months took me a while t figure all that out and im comprehendable at working around problems usualy but this problems so wide spread i think its caused by the same thing for the video in my games aswell a on hulu but this is pry not the case i suppose im just hopeing

Sometimes things get changed when making the new releases of Ubuntu. Other times, things might just be set up differently when you install the new version. Maybe 9.10 set your system up better for you by default than 10.04 did.

Maybe if you gave us some information on your flash plugin and video card it might help.

As far as making slideshows, it depends on what you mean. Do you mean a program to edit and make movies with? PiTivi is included by default in 10.04, but I don't think it supports much editing. Try downloading Kino and see if that might meet your needs.

I hope you can get this resolved.

    Regards,

    Tim
