Apparently, I have two accounts. Can I delete one?

When I log on and go to my account profile and view my email account, I see an old email account, one that's no longer active. Consequently, I do not receive email notifications of replies in the forum.

If I try to change the email address to my current email address, I get a message saying that email address is already in use. So, I can only surmise that I have created two accounts. I do not know how to logon to the account with my current email address.

How can I resolve this? Can the account with my current email address, the one I do not know the username and password for, be deleted, which would allow me to then access my profile for the forum account with my older email address and change the email address?

Or, can I get the username and password for the account with my current email address so that I can use it and just ignore the older forum account?

Well, perhaps you can ignore my request. I just did what I should have thought of doing before I started this thread. I used the procedure for a forgotten password. As you can see, I'm posting this from my dderolph2 account, not dderolph.

I wish I had done this right in the first place and changed my email address in my dderolph account rather than create a new account.
