There is a new juggler3d in the latest ubuntu.

Click system> preferences> screensaver.

Click on juggler3d, to see if you like it.

It isn't on my list. Maybe I don't have the hardware to support it.
EDIT : Now that I look at the pic, I have found a lot on there that I don't see on mine. Did you download a bunch of extra screensavers, or something?

Never mind, I found a lot of extra screen savers and installed them, now I have it.
I would still like the 2d version, though, as my processor has trouble with the new 3d version. Any ideas on how to get that one back?

Why don't you use the link I provided and manually download and install the version you want (I believe it is for Hardy)?
