Just Give Me the Beans!
Ok, just converted my girlfriends laptop to Lucid Lynx, it all went ok, connected to the web, did all the updates etc. It then went to a blank screen after being untouched for 10 minutes or so and needed a manual shutdown - ie: power off.
It now gives this screen on startup, is it the BSOD for Linux?
I get the feeling this is bad. The laptop is a Siemens Amilo li1718, model MS2212...

Was using the Ubuntu XChat/IRC channel, someone suggested that the hard-drive was broken. However, I have tried entering the boot menu, which would allow me to reinstall Lucid Lynx, running out of time to do this today, but would it be worth trying to do reinstall again? Go back to Wind'ohs?
