    new linux version of LazStats

Check out the updated version of LazStats

    http://statpages.org/miller/LazStats/

Download the linux and help file zips, renamed the help file folder to "html", run the binary, and your good to go. The help files works now but you may need to rename some of the help files so that they are all uppercase.

Re: new linux version of LazStats

It seems that LazStats has been recently updated. It is a fairly complete statistical analysis package with a GUI interface not unlike SPSS. It is far more complete (but more buggy) than PSPP. Both the 32-bit source code and a linux binary are available from the site. Moreover, there is a good bit of documentation too. I'm afraid I am not a programmer but if there are any researchers out there who are, the creator is looking for contributions for the linux version. Also, if anyone is interested in packaging it then maybe it could be put into the Debian repos and picked up for future Ubuntu editions.
